“What is there in the wooden bowl?” the little girl asked.
“Just the wings of the flowers, nothing more” the mouse said in a soft tone.
“Will you dance with me?” she asked delicately moving her eyelashes to his direction.
“Maybe later”, he sighed fluffing away a passing thought about her beautiful way of putting the right words into the right sentences.
“It is a lovely day, mister mouse. How about walking for a while in the garden? Would that be all right with you?” she turned herself towards the window and her little hand showed the sunrays siding the beautiful alley just outside the house.
